Why bother comparing Minoxidil Reviews? Well,
because, as with any medical treatment, any cosmetic product, anything intended to affect the way you look or feel,
"results will vary".
Before we begin comparing Minoxidil Reviews, though, let's make absolutely certain that we're all
on the same page, more or less. If you don't know what minoxidil is, it's a treatment that has been shown to help
people combat pattern baldness (though again, results may vary). The drug began as an oral treatment for high blood
pressure, but an interesting side effect was discovered, in that body hair was likely to grow thicker during
treatment.
Well, it was only a matter of time before somebody capitalized on that. Initially, minoxidil was copyright
protected, but has since become public, meaning that you don't have to pay outrageous prices anymore to get your
hands on it, and that the various pharmaceutical companies putting it out are being forced to price the product
competitively.
Now then, before we get to the Minoxidil Reviews, it's probably prudent to inform you of the
following...
 |
First
Because you never know whether a site features real reviews
or "planted" reviews written up by company stooges, these Minoxidil Reviews have been gathered from
a wide variety of sources around the web so as to collect an unbiased cross-examination of the
effectiveness of minoxidil, and as such...

Second
Names have been changed just in case the reviewers would rather not be named
here, and...

|

|
Third
The reviews have been paraphrased for a number of reasons, such as to correct
spelling and grammar, to eliminate unnecessary information (do you really care what "Bob" was doing
earlier in the day before he decided to try minoxidil?), and of course... To prevent accusations of
plagiarism. Even so...

Fourth
The details of
each individual review and the effects of minoxidil on the individual reviewers have been kept intact
from the initial reviews.

Now then, let's get on with the reviews...

Bob
We'll call our first reviewer "Bob". His experiences with minoxidil were overall pretty positive. Bob is in his
thirties and had been dealing with some fairly moderate hair thinning since his mid twenties. At first, Bob
considered implants, but determined that he wasn't really losing enough hair to justify that just yet (or for it to
really be a practical solution in the first place). By using a minoxidil shampoo, Bob saw his hair return to a
level of thickness he hadn't seen since he first started losing his hair. Unfortunately, Bob had made the
assumption that, once the hair has grown back, you can stop the treatment. His hair started thinning again after a
couple months, so he returned to the treatment and now maintains the hair of a twenty five year old, so, a happy
ending for Bob.
Terrence
We'll call this guy Terrence. His experience with the treatment was, unfortunately, not as pleasant as Bob's.
Terrence was in his forties and the entire top of his head was bald when he began using minoxidil. While he did see
some mild improvement after a few weeks of use, he lost faith and gave up when a couple months had gone by and he
was... Still bald. Fortunately, he did decide to shave his head and go for the Mister Clean/Bruce Willis look, so
we could call this one a bittersweet ending.
Frank
Our third reviewer who we'll go ahead and call "Frank" experienced mixed results with the treatment. In his
mid-thirties with what you might call the "Jack Nicholson" hairline, Frank tried the topical shampoo for the first
time and saw some results almost immediately. Unfortunately, the thickness of the hair he still had, combined with
the thinness of the regrown hair, provided a contrast that he really didn't like. As of the time of his review,
Frank opted to keep at it, but to wear his Yankees ball cap whenever he goes out until the regrown hair matches the
existing hair.
So what can we gather from these reviews?
First: That you'll see faster results from minoxidil if you
catch hair loss early, so it is perhaps most effective as a hair loss prevention tool than as a complete reversal
treatment.
Second: That if you've already experienced major hair loss,
minoxidil might take a long time to really take effect. Third: That treatment must be continued regularly, or else
your hairline will likely return to exactly the same place it was at before you started.
So, what sort of results will you have? Well we could just say "You won't know until you try!" but instead, let's
put it like this: If you're experiencing a receding hairline, try minoxidil as soon as you can.
The treatment is probably at its best when stopping minor hair loss and turning it around,
whereas you'll have to be patient to see real results when your look is going from "balding" to "bald".
If you've already experienced moderate or major hair loss, you may feel a little discouraged, so our advice is:
Don't give up just yet.
Try it out for a month or so and see if minoxidil gives you the results you're after.
If not, you can get implants, try a toupee or... Well, the shaved head look is in right
now.
But, don't go for a more extreme
measure until you've at least TRIED minoxidil.
It may not be a "miracle drug", but it
is the most powerful, potent and effective topical treatment for male pattern baldness on the market right now, and
for many, it works wonders almost immediately.
So give it a try. Like we mentioned above, it's only been getting cheaper and
cheaper ever since the formula went public, and for many, it truly is the answer. And REALLY give it a try.
Don't put it on once or twice and give up. Try it out for a couple weeks or a month, give it its day in
court, and if it doesn't work, try something else.
